Hi, I just got my S4 and put a screen lock password on it. But now I want to remove but I have no idea how?

Settings-->My Device--> Lock Screen. There you have multiple options

Once you've entered the unlock password, it'll let you choose other options for screen lock.
    kind regards,

Have you setup any accounts that require a security password? Like Microsoft Exchange or something like that?
Check: Settings -> More (Tab) -> Security -> Device administrators

Thank you FreeJim, I don't know why they make that so user "unfriendly", thanks for taking the time to post - I was having a hard time finding the answer. Even with a 30 minute max timeout, it was a pain in the butt having to enter my password everytime.

    Thanks, FatDiesel44

Security credentials are a fairly advanced topic.

OK, I have the same problem-- I can't get rid of my screen unlock password. In screen lock all of the password options except "Password" are grayed out. I went to clear credentials and that was grayed out too. The credentials' list shows no user credentials.
