    Question Push mail not working

Hye, I facing a problem on my exchange server company email. My setting :

    under 'Sync settings'
    -Sync Email = check
-Sync schedule - Set sync schedule = push
    - Peak schedule = check
    - Set peak schedule = push
-Period to sync email = 1 month
-Size to retrieve email = All

The same problem goes to my yahoo mail. The set up is the same as above but infact even select it to push, it won't work. I need to
constantly open my email and select refresh. So I assumed my push option doesn't work.
Most of the time the update failed as I can see, it will remained shows 'last update' refer to the last time I update and not the current time shown.
I do delete and reinstall back my emails accounts few time but its still persist.

Appreciate your expertise to tell me the different between "period to sync email" all and automatic. For mine was selected to one month.

    Thank you.

Oh I finally found it. Do this:
go to settings > data usage > under the mobile tab .. click on the menu button (touch) > select Auto Sync data

    Simpler solution

The solution Amal has works but it's easier to just pull down the notification task bar and turn the "Sync" toggle button on. Does the same thing in less steps. I had never had this turned on before but after a couple of months my emails stopped pushing automatically. I turned the "Sync" on and it works fine now. Maybe software update changed something???

    Hello Guys,

First to sync all is not a solution, it will drain the battery and sync many stuff that you really don’t need.
Second my Gmail notification push service was working very well till I have upgraded to android 4.3, after that it has stopped.
Third when I check my synchronization setting, Set Sync Schedule I don’t have PUSH at all, I have checked more than five S4 devices,
All of them have while I don’t, I guess our friend Amal above he has the same issue.
And fourth Samsung support is really bad, if you send them an email, mostly they never reply.

If anyone knows why it’s happed after 4.3 and why there is no PUSH option, plz share it with us.
