This is an interesting story, believe me!
Samsung advertises its SideSync software big time. It allows certain Samsung mobile devices to share their screens with Samsung Laptops for seamless file, transfer etc.
It should be downloaded through Samsung Apps app which comes with S4.
I logged into my Samsung Apps account. Searched for SideSync and could not find. It imply does not show up in the search results. I chatted with the Samsung support guys. He recommended to upgrade my phones software. I did. But still no luck. Strangely, I see it when log into my account on PC. But it says I should download using my mobile device. I explained it to the tech support chat guy. He told me to go to an AT&T store to get it installed.
Guess what: none of the AT&T guys ever hear of SideSync. Nevertheless, they kindly tried to help me. One of them gave a Samsung tech support phone number: 1 888 987 HELP. I called number to speak a SAMSUNG tech support person. You would not believe that the person has never hear of SideSync either. He asked me "What is it? A third-party app???" He had no clue. So much for a Samsung Support!!!
Anyways after putting me on hold 5 minutes he transferred me to a dedicated SideSync support group. Sadly after waiting 15 minutes on the hold call dropped.
Now is there anyone who has successfully installed SideSync? How? What is the Android version? Mine is 4.4.2.
