    Storage Issue

Hi! Hope someone can help me out with this problem with my S4.

So my phone memory is pretty much filled up. When I go to device storage and then look at used space, it says almost 3.5 GB are taken up by Downloads. However, when I press that, it says there are no downloads.

How can I see what's taking up so much space on my phone and free it up? It's really limiting the number of pictures and music files I can put on my phone.

    Thanks!

On that same screen, look at the cache files. If it's allot, then you can tap on it, and it will clean it out!

Also, you go use my files manager and look under the downloads folder on the device

There's about 1 GB of caches files, but I'm mostly trying to get into this Download section. Under the my files thing, there's a few pictures in the Download files, but that can't be 3 GB of content.

Well..clear the cache, you won't lose any data...And it's sounds like something is definitely not right! You may need to repair the device

    Hi,
I got a message saying that internal storage memory is low. Next day I got a SD card but shockingly all the pictures and videos went missing. Wipe clean. I have no clue what happened. Please advise if its a known issue and what are my options. I have tried some data recovery softwares but its not recovering those particular files.

    Thanks
