    Hi, just thought that I'd let you know that I resolved the issue, the router was a brand new upgraded on from my provider so no firmware upgrade was necessary. I simply, downloaded kies3 backed up the phone then reset the phone to factory settings and restored all my phone info. Problem with wifi was solved and the battery life has even improved.

    Lost all connectivity to wireless on all networks

    I have lost all connectivity to WiFi including my home network and other networks Iíve previously set up on my phone.

    When I go to the WiFi networks list I get the spinning symbol for scanning. It never gets as far as the password or other security settings. This continues for hours as though there are no WiFi connections in range.

    This has been happening ever since I tried to connect to a WiFi hotspot on holiday. I bought a card with a log on and scratch off password but it failed the logon process. I canít remember the exact incident but when I tried to logon a second time after restarting the WiFi I got the symptoms Iíve described.

    Iíve tried a restart and complete shut down and manual restart several times.

    Iíve didnít make any changes to my phone at the time or since this happened.

    Any ideas?

    It sounds like your best option may be a factory reset to see if you have a hardware problem, or not.

    I was beginning to wonder about that. I'd need to make sure I've got everything backed up as I tend not to use cloud services but this might be the time to get it up to date. Do you know what the procedure is for a factory reset?

    Make sure all your media is stored off the phone then go to settings - accounts and scroll to backup and reset. Follow the instructions.
