    Close vs Remove from list

    When you press and hold the home button the list of apps running shows up.
    If you press and hold an app you get the option to remove from list.

    Is this the same as closing the app?

    The answer is a sorta yes. Some of the items on that list are like the most recently used list (MRU) in Windows and may not actually be running. But it provides you a quick shortcut.

    You also dont have to press and hold. Just swipe it to the left or right to close

    Or just press the button on the right 3 lines with a cross that closes them all at once
