    Which navigation does everyone use?

I use the free navigation, the blue one that is pre loaded on all smart phones. The other day I noticed that is has been removed from my husbands s3 and my neighbors Razr Maxx anyone know why?

I use the navigation tool built into Google Maps. If you're referring to the blue up arrow icon as your navigation app, this is available as a separate short cut to that Navigation Tool in Google Maps. Look in the list of apps and it should be there.

I love waze, especially for the social interaction features (translation: letting me know where the police are ). However, as a navigation aid, I haven't used it in over a half year. That was when I tried navigating between Baltimore, MD and Arlington, VA where it gave me some really weird directions (I think I know just about every way to travel between the two cities so it wasn't telling me about some new, better way to travel). Waze might be better now; as I said, it has been a good 6 months and a number of updates have come out.

    Who removed it?

Maybe they removed the shortcut from a home screen?

Navigation has now been rolled into Google Maps. If you updated your Maps app, that would explain why Navigation is gone from your apps list.

I have the latest version of Google Maps and still have a separate icon that goes directly to the Navigation part. It's in the current list of apps.

This is the Verizon version of the firmware.

Navigation has always been a part of Google Maps, it just has it's own icon to go directly to Navigation.
I have the latest Google Maps and still have the Navigation icon. It's not just something that should disappear.
