Hello everyone and good afternoon.
I had lost my S3 last year. I use the app " Cerebus ", because it's claims are that if someone tries to bypass your home screed lock code, it takes a photograph and emails it to you. Now, i'm sure if you are one of the lucky ones that can afford to have a data/wiFi package that allows it to be on continually, then this isn't your concern. For the rest of us, if we're at home, or a hot spot that we repeatedly visit, then it still isn't a concern. The reality is that, if we've lost or stolen it, the captured photo from attempting to bypass our screen lock security, can not obvioulsy sent the photo to ourselves.
I have my contact details, email and alternate phone number visible for all the world to see, and possible a good samaritan that would read it and inform me of its whereabouts.
That didn't work out for me when i lost my S3.
So...does anyone know of a app ( google or third-party ) that will hook into whatever available unsecured hotspot is available, so i can receive photos taken by the S4, when someone does attempt to bypass my security logon homescreen???
or..is my suspicion correct that nothing exists to auto join a hot spot and that true security does not exist?
