How do you add new notification tones/sounds?

I would like to add some different notification tones and sounds that I created (and previously used on my Droid 2) but I cannot find how to add them to the list to be used. Any ideas? Also, is there a way to use different sounds for notifications of text messages and e-mails?

Add them to the notification folder on your internal storage or you can create a new notification folder on your sdcard.

Can I ask what app you used to move or paste them onto your device.
I have a mac and thought I could use Android Transfer like I did with my Razr Maxx HD but when I opened it it did not find my S4.
I think a USB option is my best shot.

    Thanks

I use android file transfer imac. It won't work if Kies is installed. Or try Android from market.
